Shipping and customs
How we send orders from Australia to Korea, how shipping costs work, and what to know about customs.
Who sells and how we ship
QUOKKA MALL is run by MIKISM PTY LTD, a company registered in Australia. We sell Australian products directly to consumers in Korea.
Orders are sent from Australia by air courier and delivered to your address in Korea.
Each parcel clears Korean customs as goods imported by the recipient for personal use.
Shipping costs
Product prices already include part of the international shipping cost.
Orders at or above the free-shipping threshold ship free. A flat shipping fee applies to orders below it.
Free-shipping threshold: to be confirmed before ordering opens
Shipping fee below the threshold: to be confirmed before ordering opens
Checkout shows the shipping fee and your total before you pay.
Dispatch and delivery times
Dispatch and delivery times have not been set yet. We’ll confirm them before ordering opens and show them at checkout before you pay.
Orders sent in more than one box
Depending on size, weight and type, we may send one order in more than one box. The boxes may arrive on different days.
Jeju and remote areas
We’ll decide whether there is extra shipping for Jeju and remote areas, and how much, before ordering opens.
Customs duties and taxes
Personal-use goods sent from Australia are free of Korean duties and VAT when the goods are worth USD 150 or less.
You can still order above USD 150. Duties and VAT may then apply to the whole amount, not just the part above the limit, and the recipient pays them. A customs clearance fee may also be charged when tax applies. We’ll remind you of this before you pay.
Customs assesses purchases from QUOKKA MALL made on the same day together, even if you split them across orders or receive them in separate boxes.
Some items, such as food, health supplements and functional cosmetics, clear customs through a simplified import declaration and may take longer. They remain duty-free at USD 150 or less.
Personal customs clearance code
Each order needs the recipient’s Korean personal customs clearance code.
The recipient’s name, mobile number and delivery postcode must match the details registered with that code. If they don’t, customs clearance may be delayed or held.
Changing delivery details
We’ll confirm how, and until when, you can change the delivery address or recipient before ordering opens.
After any change, the recipient’s name, mobile number and delivery postcode must still match the details registered with the customs code.
Delays, loss or damage
If your order is late, lost or damaged, please let us know. Contact: support@quokkamall.com
We’ll confirm how and when we resolve these cases before ordering opens.
